 Modern Dance is a broad catchall
 phrase
 that usually describes  the
 mixing of various idioms
 together:ballet,jazz and classical
 modern dance.

This class will be mixed level geared to the skill of those that attend.


 The instructor  Beth Jacobs has
 trained in NYC  at the Paul Taylor school and has studied most major modern dance styles: Martha Graham, Paul Taylor, Lester  Horton, Twyla Tharp,Lar Lubavitch and with the postmoderns ;BIll T Jones and Mark Morriss.


 And has studied ballet at the SF Ballet School rehearsing right in with  corps des ballet .

 She performed with professional ballet and modern dance companies  in NYC at Brooklyn Academy of music ,  at the SF Palace of fine Arts and locally with the Berkshire Ballet.

 Wear stretchy clothing have hair
 pulled back out of face if it is long 
 at least in a ponytail

be prepared to dance in socks or bare feet
 
 course cost $85 all inclusive $95 out of district resident seniors $75
