[Capdist-auditions] Saratoga Arts Fest: Dracula Masquerade Ball Open Casting Call Saturday 9/8

This year’s Saratoga Arts Fest’s fundraising gala  - All Hallows’ Eve Dracula Masquerade Ball is an immersive theatrical event in which guests attending the gala will interact with actors and the story of Dracula as it plays out throughout the night. 

Auditions:
When: Saturday September 8th, 2018 
Time: 3:00PM - 6:00PM - Doors will close at 5:45PM.
Location: The National Museum of Dance (Studios, not inside the museum) 99 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs NY 12866
Actual Gala:
When: Thursday, October 25th, 2018  - There will likely be a tech run though on Wednesday 10/24.
Time: TBD PM
Location: Canfield Casino, 1 East Congress Street, Saratoga Springs NY 12866
**Dancers and singers are strongly encouraged to apply as some roles will involve singing and dancing. Improve skills will also be necessary as characters have to improve with the audience, so come prepared to improve during the audition. You can also prepare a dramatic monologue if desired, but it is not necessary. 

Role Descriptions: 
Elder Dracula - Age 60+

Younger Dracula - Age 21 - 45, Tall, dark and handsome.

Dancing Dracula - Strong ballet with ability to partner in a pas de deux

Jonathan Harker  -  Age 25 to 40,  An uptight British man. 

Mina - Age 16  to 35,  Good dramatic actress and also a strong ballet dancer.

Lucy - Age 16 to 35, Good dramatic actress with strong singing abilities. 

Apollo - Age 18 to 45,  Blond sun god.

Slavic Peasant Woman -  Age 30 to 80 years old.

Dr. Seward - Age 30 to 50, a British psychiatrist.

3 Brides of Dracula - Age 16 to 35,  Vampiresses with strong, jazz and contemporary dancers - ballet background a plus.
