the Witch, and the Wardrobe_; /and/_The NeverEnding Story_./*

Auditioning students will read from sides - portions of the play

East of the Sun and West of the Moon is a Norwegian folk tale of a 
Prince, enchanted by Trolls who is rescued by a peasant girl.

It starts with her being given to the Snow Bear by her parents in return 
for money to survive. She ends up seeing him as a human and breaks the 
first part of spell; the second part will force him to marry the Troll 
Queen’s daughter.The girl vows to rescue him and gains help from three 
Witches. She then travels to the edge of the world; East of the Sun and 
West of Moon. Through wit and cunning she outsmarts the Trolls and 
rescues the Prince.

*CAST* is a tuition based program - $250 which covers 10 weeks of 
rehearsal/class two to three times each week for 2-3 hours; also covers 
costumes, masks, and make-up.Scholarships are available based on 
economic need.

*CAST* – Creative Arts at Steamer Ten is our Theatre Arts program.  We 
produce shows with students aged 7 to 17 with rehearsals at least twice 
each week over the course of a 10 week period. The cast and crew create 
the sets and costumes for the show, which has 6 to 8 performances over 
two to three weekends.
