DESCRIPTION
ArtisTree Musical Theatre Festival, for Summer/Fall 2019 located just outside beautiful Woodstock, VT.
Seeking Wardrobe Manager/Wig & Make-up Supervisor for the season.
Will oversee all wardrobe needs including changeover/maintenance, costume stock inventory/alteration, laundry/dry cleaning. Act as wardrobe running crew. Will maintain wigs + make-up needs for all productions.
Applicant should:
•Have experience working wardrobe running crew at college level and/or stock
•Posses strong sewing skills
Have working knowledge of costume construction and alteration
•Ensure costume designs/plots are executed as required per discussions with the artistic director, director, and designers
•Have experience in wig styling, ventilating and maintenance as well as stage make-up application
Season consists of "Souvenir: A Fantasia on the Life of Florence Foster Jenkins" ; "Tintypes: A Musical Celebration of America" ; and "Forever Plaid: The Heavenly Hit Musical."
Other duties, including but not limited to:
•Must be present and perform required duties at rehearsals and performances to the satisfaction of artistic director, director, and production stage manager.
•Required to work in the costume shop in collaboration with the costume designer on various production work
•Assist with various promo and off-site events (photo shoots, publicity, etc.)
•During tech week and through the run of the productions will execute necessary wardrobe duties or otherwise serve on the crew as assigned by the production stage manager.
Must be eager to work in a fast-paced environment with theatre professionals.
Work six days a week (off Mondays).
Shows run Wednesday-Sunday (5 shows/week).
Pay - $400/wk. Housing provided.
Requirements:
•Excellent personal, organizational, time management and communication skills.
•The ability to work efficiently under pressure, and as a team player.
•Driver’s License and own car preferred.
•No pets.
DURATION
August 13, 2019 - October 30, 2019
SALARY
$400/wk, plus housing
