CALLING ALL STUDENTS, AGES 8-18, TO AUDITION FOR Park Playhouse 32ND SEASON PRODUCTIONS:

ANNIE  &   PIPPIN
AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD SEPTEMBER 6-8, 2019

Sign-in hours to audition will be Friday, September 6 from 6pm-8pm and Saturday, September 7 from 11am-5pm. Students may arrive anytime within the sign-in block to secure an audition that day; we will see students on a rolling basis throughout that time in groups of 20. Please do not arrive before or after the sign in window, as we cannot guarantee someone will be on site until the hours listed. Students are welcome to audition for both productions, or select a specific production based on availability:

ANNIE: Seeking students ages 8-18

Musical Direction by Brian Axford
First Rehearsal & Parent Meeting: Saturday, September 28, 12noon-5pm
Rehearsals: Saturdays October 5 & 12, November 9, 16 & 23, December 7 & 14 from 12noon-5pm and Mondays-Thursdays in November & December from 6-9pm (No rehearsal on Thanksgiving)
Tech Rehearsal: Monday, December 16, 5pm-10pm
Performances: December 17-22, Tuesday-Sunday at 8pm, Saturday & Sunday at 2pm

PIPPIN: Seeking students ages 15-18
Pippin will rehearse over a very limited rehearsal period including February and Spring break. Only students with limited conflicts will be considered - please see full rehearsal schedule before auditioning.

Rehearsals: February 17-21 from 10am-5pm (February break week) & March 3-April 4, Tuesdays-Fridays from 6-9pm, Saturdays from 12-5pm
Tech Rehearsals: April 6-9, 6-9pm & April 13-15, 11am-8pm (Spring break week)
Performances: April 16-26, 2020, Thursdays-Saturdays at 8pm, Saturdays & Sundays at 2pm

PLEASE PREPARE 16-32 BARS OF A 70S POP/ROCK SONG (FOR PIPPIN) OR MUSICAL THEATRE/DISNEY SONG (IF ONLY AUDITIONING FOR ANNIE). ALL STUDENTS WILL SING THEIR PREPARED CUT AND THEN BE TAUGHT A SHORT DANCE COMBINATION FROM ANNIE. CALLBACKS WILL BE SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 8 FOR BOTH PRODUCTIONS.
AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD AT FUTURE OF TALENT DANCE CO., 95 REMSEN ST, COHOES.

There is no fee to audition. A participation tuition fee of $500 applies to students who are cast in productions. As always, tuition assistance & scholarships are available.
