[Capdist-auditions] Seeking Male roles in Little Women: the Musical for TMP

Timothy Murphy Playhouse of Schohaire County is seeking actors for the male
roles in their summer production of Little Women: the Musical.
Show dates are August 1st and 2nd.
Rehearsals will run June 10th thru August 2nd, Mondays thru Thursdays with
specific scheduling so that not all characters are required for every
rehearsal.

The performances will be held at the Middleburg Highschool Auditorium in
Middleburg NY.

The new additional auditions will be Saturday June 8th and Sunday June 9th
at the Middleburg Reformed Church 178 River Street Middleburg NY 12122

Characters still needing to be cast:

Professor Bhaer -- German Professor who exemplifies proper manners. He is a
boarder in Mrs. Kirk's boarding house and eventually falls in love with Jo.

Age: 30 – 50 Vocal range: G2 –F#4 Baritone

Mr. Laurence -- Grandfather of Laurie, who at first inspires fear which
later turns to understanding and admiration with his treatment of Beth.

Age: 40– 70 Vocal range: D3-E4 Baritone



Mr. John Brooke -- Laurie's tutor and a rather stiff man; shows very little
emotion. He later marries Meg and changes.

Age: 20-45 Vocal range: C#3—F#4 Baritone"
