Actors are asked to prepare a Shakespearean monologue. The monologue does
not need to be memorized.

Actors will be asked to participate in movement exercises. Please bring
comfortable shoes and clothing you can move around in.

Sides will be provided as actors will be asked to perform scenes with
fellow auditioners.  Actors should be prepared to stay for the entirety of
the audition.

Benedick-A lord and soldier of Padua; companion of Don Pedro
Beatrice-Leonato’s niece
Claudio-A soldier and count of Florence, companion of Don Pedro and Benedick
Hero-Leonato’s Daughter
Don Pedro-Prince of Aragon
Don John-“The Bastard Prince”, Don Pedro’s Brother
Leonato-Governor of Messina
Borachio- companion of Don John
Conrade-companion of Don John
Margaret-waiting-gentlewoman to Hero
Ursula- waiting-gentlewoman to Hero
Dogberry-Head constable of the night watch
Verges-Member of the night watch, Dogberry’s partner
Friar Frances-A priest
Sexton-the judge of Messina
Night Watchmen
Servants, Messengers, Attendants, Lords

Casting Note: All roles are open and alternative casting will be
considered.  Actors may be cast in multiple roles.

Performance Dates: August 2nd-4th and August 8th-11th, 2019
Rehearsals will start in May.
