For new or experienced actors, this in-depth class will teach you how to

create a believable character from the inside-out, how to relax and

concentrate in front of an audience or camera, successful techniques for

auditioning, the easy (and correct!) way to learn lines, and much more.

Semester concludes with a final performance to which friends and family may

be invited. Instructor Jon South studied acting at ESIPA and the Herbert

Berghof Studio and is currently a music student at SCCC. Over the past 30

years he has performed in numerous plays and musicals throughout community

theaters, as well as with Capital Repertory, C-R Productions at Cohoes

Music Hall, and Hudson Stageworks. Jon can be seen in season two of the hit
comedy web series “Welcome Home” on Amazon Prime & Vimeo.
