SPECIAL AUDITION OPPORTUNITY! Confetti Stage Inc., in partnership with
WAMC’s The Linda will be staging a production of The Mountaintop by Katori
Hall, to be directed by Jean-Remy Monnay for Black History Month. *Auditions
will be November 4th and 5th at 6:30 PM at the Albany Masonic Hall (67
Corning Place, Albany, NY 12207). *The performance will be Friday, February
28th at 7:30 PM at the Linda, WAMC’s Performing Arts Studio (with the
possibility of a second show on Saturday, February 29th).

The Mountaintop is a fictionalized, fantastical take on the final moments
of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This unforgettable story is about Dr. King’s
strange encounter with a mysterious maid who enters his room in the
Lorraine Motel in 1968.

African-American actors are needed to fill the following roles

Martin Luther King Jr. (30’s - 40’s): The warm, charismatic, and very human
figure behind the immortal legacy of his Civil Rights work.

Camae: (20’s) A funny, flirtatious, and very confident woman who doesn’t
seem to fit in with the time and place she occupies. She appears to know a
lot more about Dr. King and his legacy than a young maid should.

No Monologues will be necessary. Actors will be reading from the script.
