Synopsis:

Kris Kringle is a dreamer, a young genius toy maker with no place to call home. When he gets an opportunity to apprentice at the North Pole, it seems that all his dreams may finally come true. But on his adventures, he’ll have to navigate jealous schemers, an ancient curse, first love, and Santa’s formidable Rule Book. This funny, captivating show for all ages tells the story of how young Kris Kringle reunited his family and saved the Spirit of Christmas!


Rehearsals and Performances (November – December, 2019):

Please note that there will be a maximum of 2 rehearsals that will take place in Manhattan. Anyone auditioning for a role (not the youth chorus) must be prepared to adhere to this commitment.

  *   1st rehearsal will be one day in Schenectady in mid-November to learn all music and choreography
  *   2nd and 3rd rehearsals will be in Manhattan with possible dates of November 30th and December 7th
  *   4th rehearsal possible on December 11th at Proctors
  *   Tech: December 12th & 13th at Proctors
  *   Performances: December 14th & 15th at Proctors


Seeking 3 Children Age 8-12 to play multiple rolls, including:

Young Kris Kringle, New York City children, Elf Children at the North Pole, and more.

Please note:

  *   ALL ETHNICITIES welcome and encouraged!
  *   Auditionees must be within this actual age range.
  *   Boys auditioning for a role must have unchanged voices.
  *   All must be triple threats with great personalities and senses of humor.
  *   There are no EMC points for this production.
  *   There is a $500.00 stipend for the actors hired for these 3 (three) roles.


Also Seeking Additional Children to make up our small youth chorus.

Please note:

  *   ALL ETHNICITIES welcome and encouraged!
  *   All must be excellent singers with great personalities and senses of humor.
  *   There are no EMC points for this production.
  *   There is no stipend for the chorus.


Audition Details:

September 28, 2019 at 10am

The day will start with a dance call, acting/singing will follow.

432 State Street, Schenectady, NY

3rd floor


Prepare the script and vocal sides provided, and come dressed to dance.
