AUDITIONS FOR “*Matilda The Musical*”



Direction by Christine Abitabile

Musical Direction by Andrea Mastrianni



*Auditions for our Fall 2020 production, Matilda, will be as follows*:

·    Adults (19 years old and older) – Monday, April 20

·    Children (8-18 years old) – Tuesday, April 21 & Wednesday, April 22



*Time*: Sign-In at 6:30PM; auditions start promptly at 7PM



   *If needed, callbacks will be held on Tuesday, April 28 starting
promptly at 7PM



*Location*: Reformed Dutch Church of Claverack, 88 Rte. 9H, Claverack, NY
12513



*Materials:* Bring sheet music or pre-recorded music; *no acapella*. There
will be a dance portion of the audition; wear the appropriate footwear and
come prepared to move



Show dates are November 20, 21, & 22, 2020

Hudson High School Performing Arts Center, Hudson, NY



Casting for the following roles:



Matilda (Elementary age)



8 Elementary Children roles:  Lavender, Bruce, Amanda, Nigel, Eric, Alice,
Hortensia, Tommy



8-10 Teen roles:  Michael Wormwood & Teen Ensemble (Male & Female – very
active ensemble)



10 Adult roles:  Miss Agatha Trunchbull, Miss Honey, Mr. Wormwood, Mrs.
Wormwood, Mrs. Phelps (non-singing role), The Escapologist, The Acrobat,
Rudolpho (a Dancer), Doctor, Entertainer
