[Capdist-auditions] Advance Notice - Auditions for December holiday show

 Announcing auditions for Classic Theater Guild's production of the
original holiday musical 'TWAS THE LAND OF THE NIGHT BEFORE, written by
Steve Suriano & Bill Douglas and directed by Garrett D. West.

Show will be presented in an early-American operetta/vaudeville style with
a large cast of both adults and children from all backgrounds. Looking for
big comic personalities and performers with any special skills, including
jugglers, acrobats, dancers, and musicians.

*Subject to change*, audition dates will be September 1st and 3rd, with the
production running December 11-13 and 18-20 at Proctors' Addy Theater. More
information to come soon.

*Storyline:*  Written by local authors Bill Douglas and Steve Suriano, the
musical has been produced in the area three previous times.  It's the story
of an enchanting village where everyone enthusiastically prepares for the
holiday morning - ALL the time.  Exchanging presents but never opening
them, decorating and undecorating the tree, it's all part of their simple
and content daily life.  Until one day, when a likeable bumbling soul
wanders into the town and promises everyone they can show them about the
holiday.
