[Capdist-auditions] CASTING CALL for THE YIDDISH HACK, a 30 minute YouTube video

We will be filming The Yiddish Hack (a 30 minute youtube video) in Troy, NY
in about  two or three weeks. Mother G, IBN's marvelous computer
psychotherapist, is doing a therapy session with an extremely depressed
patient. Unfortunately, Mother G has been hacked by a malicious teenager
who has messed with her anger management files and also inserted Yiddish
memes. This hack causes Mother G to occasionally lose control and suddenly
start speaking and thinking like an angry Yenta, who is more interested in
airing her own grievances than in helping her patient. The therapy session
with the extremely depressed patient starts out well enough but eventually
goes off the rails when the hack fully kicks in.


*PAY:** $1,000 each for Mel and the depressed patient. $900 for Stuart.
Mother and daughter $500 each. The roles for Mother G and the narrator have
already been filled.*



*              CAST of THE YIDDISH HACK:*

*Stuart Ross: Sincere and enthusiastic Vice President at IBN. A man of
above average integrity.*



*Mel Martin: Unscrupulous CFO at Wellness LLC, the state’s largest HMO. He
and Stuart are meeting to discuss whether Wellness LLC will purchase the
services of Mother G, IBN’S marvelous computer psychotherapist, that IBN
has raised from infancy.*



*Mother G: Recently, IBN’s Mother G, has been hacked by a malicious
teenager who has messed with her anger management files and also inserted
Yiddish memes. This hack causes Mother G to occasionally lose control and
suddenly start speaking and thinking like an angry Yenta, who is more
interested in airing her own grievances than in helping her patient.*



*Mother (Hazel) and Daughter (Nicole): Mother G’s very first therapy
patients after completing her upbringing and training. In this taped
session Mother G is impressive.*



*Ben: Extremely troubled patient. In order to further convince Mel of
Mother G’s extraordinary ability and empathy, Stuart and Mel will watch a *
*live **therapy session with the troubled patient. The session starts out
well enough, but goes off the rails once the hack kicks in fully.*
