PROGRAM INFORMATION FOR  STUDENTS & PARENTS/GUARDIANS..
In 2022, Playhouse Stage Co. will produce two productions for the students of Playhouse Stage Academy at the Cohoes Music Hall. Auditions will be conducted via video submission, with callbacks in person as needed at Playhouse Stage Studios on Saturday, October 2.
Students 12+ will need to provide proof of vaccination at the start of rehearsals.

Audition Information
To audition - submit a self tape including an appropriate 32-bar cut (classical musical theatre or Country/Bluegrass/Folk for Oklahoma) with accompaniment and a short monologue. Please submit as two separate videos, slating at the beginning of each video with your name, age, and material selection.

Self-tapes should be filmed in a landscape orientation at actor’s eye level. Please frame yourself from the chest up and remember to light yourself well by facing a window and standing against a relatively simple background.

Email your self-tape auditions to ashley at playhousestage.org<mailto:ashley at playhousestage.org> no later than September 26, 2021 at 5pm with the subject AUDITION SUBMISSION - NAME - AGE. Depending upon the size of your videos, you can also upload them to Dropbox, Vimeo, or a private Youtube and include the links in your email. Please attach the form linked below to your email with a headshot and resume.

Callbacks will be held at Playhouse Stage Studios, 95 Remsen St. Cohoes by appointment on Saturday, October 2, 2021.

If needed for callbacks, you will receive an email notification.
Not all roles will need to be called back.

Tech: April 18-20, 2022 *Spring Break week. Tech calls will be during the day*
Performances: April 21-24 & April 28-May 1, Thurs-Sat at 8pm, Sat & Sun at 2pm
ALL Conflicts must be reported at the time of audition and
included in your SUBMISSION email.

OKLAHOMA!
Rehearsals: January 11-February 26, 2022, Tuesdays-Fridays 6-9pm & Saturdays 12-6pm
February 21-25 *February Break week. Rehearsals will be during the day*
Tech: February 28-March 2, 2022
Performances: March 3-6 & March 10-13, Thurs-Sat at 8pm, Sat & Sun at 2pm
ALL Conflicts must be reported at the time of audition and

Tuition Information
Tuition for this program is $500 per student.
Tuition assistance may be available through scholarships.
Ability to pay is not discussed or considered prior to auditions & casting.
