Upstage Productions, Inc. Proudly Announces Auditions for our fall
production of *“Matilda, The Musical”*

Open Auditions will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 7 PM

At the Reformed Dutch Church of Claverack, 88 Rte. 9H, Claverack, NY 12513

Additional Auditions will be announced, if needed

Bring pre-recorded Broadway type music for your accompaniment;

no pop or rock songs and no acapella singing



 Cast will have a summer workshop to begin the rehearsal process;

Workshop will be Saturday mornings 9-12, July 9 – August 27



Show dates are November 18, 19, 20, 2022

Hudson High School Performing Arts Center, Hudson, NY

*Casting for the following roles*:

Matilda Understudy (Elementary age)



4 - 5 Elementary Ensemble Roles: Male & Female – very active singing &
dancing ensemble



5-6 Teen Ensemble Roles: Male & Female – very active singing & dancing
ensemble, often

playing dual roles



5 Adult Roles: Mr. Wormwood, Doctor, Entertainer, Escapologist, Acrobat
