Casting Call for Mental Health Training Videos for

Mental Health Association in New York State, Inc.

Character portrayed is a certified Mental Health Community Partner at the
Mental Health Association in New York State, Inc. She is a mental health
professional. She is a peer (i.e. has lived experiences in her own
behavioral health recovery) and also a mother to a daughter living with a
mental health challenge. She is a woman of color who understands the stigma
that exists in the mental health field, and challenges to people in
recovery and their loved ones. She is professional, warm, supportive, and
insightful.

Actors who can portray the character are encouraged to apply. The selected
actor will be involved in two videos. The first video is approximately
10-12 minutes, and second video is approximately 12-15 minutes. Auditions
may be scheduled as soon as possible, and filming will take place on
October 25/26 in Albany, NY for approximately 3-4 hours. Payment is $300
total for both videos.
