The Capital Region Dance Alliance <https://www.dancealliance.org/>is proud
to announce *TWO scholarship opportunities* for participation in dance
workshops, classes, or summer intensives:*The Pat and Sven Peterson annual
scholarship,* open to ages in grades 7-sophomore year of college, will
award up to $700 to assist students who will be attending a dance program
during Summer 2023. The scholarship will be awarded based on the
applicants’ past dance experience and potential to make a contribution in
dance to the local dance community or field of dance in general. For more

*The Community Outreach Scholarship *is restricted to “underserved
individuals *or *individuals with a disability” who “reside in Albany
*or *Schenectady
County”. Funds may be used to pursue an opportunity in dance between June
2023 and April 2024. Applicants must be at least 14 years old and meet both
criteria stated above. This scholarship is awarded on its potential to
fulfill the applicant’ desire to participate in a dance experience,
program, or workshop that will enrich their lives. For more info and to
