Capital Rep (theREP) a seeks professional African drummer to accompany the story of Harriet Tubman for the theatre’s touring show for young audiences. Contract: Feb 9-March 25, 2023.  Monday-Saturdays (daytime availability required). $700/wk.


Production: HARRIET TELLS IT LIKE IT IS: Harriet Tubman travels back in time and shares her story of bravery, resilience, and triumph as she fights for her freedom and the freedom of countless other African American slaves.

First rehearsal on Feb. 9, 2023

Last rehearsal on Feb. 25, 2023

First day on the road is Feb. 27, 2023

Last day on the road is March 25, 2023


Fee: $700.00/week


Rehearsals: Monday - Saturday for rehearsals (between 10-am-6pm)


Performances: Daytime. Times vary according to tour schedule. Call can be as early as 6am. End of day can be as late as 6pm. There are no overnights for this tour.


theREP provides a road manager and a stage manager for the tour; and transports everyone to and from all touring locations. (The tour meets to leave from – and returns back to – theREP, 251 N. Pearl St, Albany, NY 12207)
