Calling all aspiring actors and actresses! We are thrilled to announce
auditions for our upcoming theatrical production of the Dual Voices Theater.


The project consists *STAGED READING **AND** FEATURED SCENES OF A PLAY*.
The play “*A **L**etter to God*” is based on the story of Ukrainian
writer Anatoly Crym from his series “*Stories about Jewish Happiness*”.

Synopsis. Ukraine 1947. Yankel Lemares, is a man who lost his wife and
children during the war. He diligently writes letters for the Almighty. In
his letter, he asks Him for a 50-ruble gift for Jewish Passover. However,
the message does not reach the recipient and falls into the hands of the
police chief. The letter unexpectedly touches his soul. As the narrative
unfolds, audiences are drawn into a world where faith, love, and fate
intertwine to create a pognant tapestry of human experiences.

Please come to meet our director Robert Willard and start rehearsing on
coming Sunday, November 24 at 2:30pm at the Meeting room at Arbor Hill/
West Hill of the library, located at 148 Henry Johnson Blvd, Albany.

Performance Date: Sunday, December 22 2024, starting at 2pm.

Auditions are open to all ages and experience levels. Rehearsal schedule
will be provided upon casting.
