*Seeking actors for Theater Voices' April show!*

*Northside Hollow*
Co-written by Jonathan Fielding and Brenda Withers
Directed by Michael Kennedy

*The story:*
Trapped underground after a deadly collapse, a miner finds his salvation in
the arrival of a scrappy first responder. Northside Hollow focuses on
themes of alienation and connection in our darkest moments.

*Audition dates:*
Auditions will be held *Monday, Feb. 24 *at* 6 p.m.* at the Creative Action
Unlimited studio

*Production dates:*
"Northside Hollow" will be performed as a staged reading, with four
performances over the weekend of *April 4-6* at Steamer No. 10 Theatre

Performance
times are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. plus Saturday and Sunday at 2:30
p.m.

All actors must be available for performances, plus tech week (3/31-4/3).
Please bring information about schedule conflicts to the auditions.

*Seeking:*
All roles are available. There's no need to prepare in advance for
auditions. We will be using sides from the script.

   - *Gene* (30-55) The miner. A "guy's guy."
   - *Marshall *(20s - 30s) A first responder. Athletic, scrappy.
   - *Kath* (20s - 40s) Gene's ex-wife. A small town woman. Dry, loving.

*Theater Voices is a not-for-profit organization under IRS 501(c)(3).* We
are a company of dedicated theater professionals presenting both new and
classic works with the specific goal of emphasizing the richness of the
playwright's language. The company's productions are presented as fully
staged, script-in-hand readings with minimal use of scenery and costumes.
The simplicity of this format has allowed the company to bring professional
theater to Capital Region audiences free of charge for over three decades.

*NOTE ON COVID-19 SAFETY:* For the 2024-25 season, mask-wearing is
optional Theater Voices shows (subject to change based on CDC and community
health guidelines).
