[Capdist-auditions] Auditions for Improv Workshop: Not Another Murder, an improvised mystery

Seeking two (2) experienced improvisers interested in collaborating on a
new longform improv format.

Performers MUST submit a Google form (linked below) in advance of auditions
and will be assigned an audition time as space allows, walk ups will be
turned away. If there is a lot of interest, we may not be able to
accommodate all performers in the audition, you will be notified via email
if that is the case.

When:

Audition: Wednesday, February 26, 2025, 6PM-8:30PM

Workshop: Once-a-month sessions from February through July (dates and times
TBD)

Where: Audition: Creative Action Unlimited studio,  6 Greenwood Dr, East
Greenbush, NY 12061

Who: Seeking two (2) Performers with long-form improvisation experience and
an interest in collaboration

About the Project: Not Another Murder will be a live, improvised (‘improv’)
mystery that draws inspiration from episodic television shows like Murder,
She Wrote, Columbo, and Perry Mason.

In 2025 we are workshopping this format so that it will be stage ready.
Charlie Owens, the director of the format, has begun the development and is
seeking collaborators to finalize and flesh it out.

Workshop Specifics: This workshop will take place with once a month
rehearsal sessions (3-5 hours each) between February and July totaling (~19
hours total), possibly culminating in a public performance based on the
results of the workshop. A workshop stipend for each performer is made
possible through our Art Connects grant.

All rehearsals will take place in the Capital Region (East Greenbush, Troy,
Albany, and/or Schenectady, NY). Rehearsals will be scheduled based on
performer availability.
