*Mischievous, magical, humorous and captivating – Tony Award-winning Pippin
is the lively coming of age story of Charlemagne's oldest son. A surprise
waits around every corner as Pippin wanders through the worlds of politics,
love and war before finding his true calling. A fantastic tale, Pippin is
packed with dazzling nd imaginative songs such as "Magic to Do," "Corner of
the Sky" and the audience sing-along "No Time at All." *
*This hip, tongue-in-cheek, anachronistic fairy tale captivated Broadway
audiences and continues to appeal to the young at heart everywhere (the show
has become a staple on high school and college campuses). The energetic
pop-influenced score by three-time Oscar(r)-winning composer/lyricist Stephen
Schwartz ("Wicked", "Godspell", "Children of Eden" and the animated films
"Pocahontas," "The Hunchback Of Notre Dame" and "The Prince Of Egypt")
bursts with one showstopping number after another, from soaring ballads to
infectious dance numbers. In total Stephen Schwartz has won three Academy
Awards, four Grammy Awards and four Drama Desk Awards. Nominated for 11 Tony
Awards, Pippin is a show not to be missed!!!!
