Worlds of Shakespeare by Marchette Chute and Ernestine Perrie
Directed by Juliet King

The show runs August 8, 9 and 10, 2008.  The show starts at 8pm Friday and Saturday nights, and 3pm on Sunday.  This is a pay-what-you-will performance.

The piece is a compilation of 12 scenes from 10 of the plays by William Shakespeare.  The plays are as follows: Henry V, As You Like It, Richard III, The Tempest, Othello, The Merchant of Venice, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream, King Lear and Taming of the Shrew.  Act I is entitled “The World of Love”; Act II is entitled “The World of Music”.

The Worlds of Shakespeare stars Chris Brabham, Ed Countermine, Amy Durant, Jessica Hoffman, Donald Hyman, Michael Kennedy, Kacie Kirkpatrick, Colleen Lovett, Katherine Novko, Frank Novko, Tony Pallone, Gil Spevack, Dan Stott, and Katie Weinberg.

Albany Civic Theater is a not-for-profit, all-volunteer organization.

City of Albany, New York and the Community Art$ Grants for Not-for-Profit Organizations.
