Hollywood, 1939.  Fortified with only bananas, peanuts and a typewriter, producer David O. Selznick (Alexander M. Stern), screenwriter Ben Hecht (Robert Hegeman), and director Victor Fleming (David Orr) are locked in an office with just five day, joined by Miss Poppenghul (Denice Cross), to adapt the best selling epic novel, "Gone With the Wind," into a screenplay.  This riotous play is at once a hyperventilating slapstick comdy, an impassioned love song, and a blazing critique of Hollywood.
