The Delta Xi Cast of Alpha Psi Omega, the National  Theater Honor Fraternity 

at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, presents David Auburn’s 

PROOF on September 12 & 13 and 18-20 at 8:00pm in the RPI 

Playhouse, 15th Street (South of Sage  Avenue), Troy, NY.  

Admission is $10; $5 for students and seniors.

About PROOF:

On the eve of her twenty-fifth birthday,  Catherine, a troubled 

young woman, has spent years caring for her brilliant but  unstable father 

Robert, once a renowned mathematician. Now, following his death,  she must deal 

with the aftermath, including the arrival of her estranged sister,  Claire, as 

well as the attentions of Hal, a former student of Robert's who hopes  to find 

valuable work in the 103 notebooks that he left behind.  Over the long weekend 

that follows, a  burgeoning romance and the discovery of a mysterious notebook 

draw Catherine  into the most difficult problem of all: how much of her 

father's genius -- or  madness -- will she inherit?
