The Schenectady Light Opera Co.(SLOC) announces the opening of it's 82nd  musical season with "Thoroughly Modern Millie."  Good seats are still available!!

                   Oct. 4,5,11, 12 2008 at 2pm

"Would be flapper, Millie Dillmount, arrives in NYC during the roaring twenties with the ambition of getting a secretarial job with a rich handsome boss whom she'll marry. But instead she falls for the penniless Jimmy Smith & after a series of adventures including the uncovering
of a white slavery operation run by her landlady, Mrs. Meers, Millie forsakes her employer Trevor Graydon & accepts Jimmy who turns out to be an heir in disguise."

This Comedy won the 2002 Tony Award for Best Musical.
