Opera à la Carte Holiday Show  

Opera à la Carte (Amanda
Boyd, soprano, Libby Shoup, mezzo soprano, Andy Truex, tenor, Steve
Dahlin, bass-baritone and producer, and Uel Wade, pianist and music
director) will follow up their summer success with a holiday show at Lippera's Restaurant
at the Chatham House in Chatham, NY, on December 12 from 7:30 to 9:30
pm. This season's offering will feature favorites from the Christmas
and Hanukkah traditions, spanning the centuries from ancient to modern
times. In addition to musical roasting of chestnuts, blooming of roses
and spinning of dreidels, diners will be treated to some glorious Bach
and Handel. 
Lippera's, whose
romantic dining room is on the ground floor of a beautifully restored
early 19th century Chatham building, offers a delicious prix fixe menu
and coordinates the courses with the three
short sets offered by the musicians. The price for 3 course meal, tax,
tip, and music, beverages not included, is $49.95.  Children are welcomed with reduced prices, and a few balcony seats are available free for those who do not buy dinner. Make reservations at www.thechathamhouse.com or by calling (518) 392-6600.
