Greetings!

Come to the Playhouse at 7 PM tonight or
Thursday night to try out for parts in Pulitzer
prize winner Horton Foote's The Trip to
Bountiful.

Tender story of a widows journey to her
childhood home in Bountiful, Texas. Running
away from under the thumb of her
daughter-in-law, she is helped by the
sheriff sent after her. Light Texan
accents welcome but not required to try out
for the parts of elder widow, middle aged son
and wife, sheriff and young war bride plus
smaller roles.

The play will be staged March 20 - 22 and 25

uniquely funny killers give their takes on
crimes of passion set in a Florida retirement
home. These
perfect crimes entail blackmail, jealousy,
sex and of course, murder... who will survive?

Directed by Barry Corlew. Presented in three
acts without intermission, the play features
Randy McConnaugh as Gerald Halverson in "The
Man who Married His Mother-in-Law". Act two
is "Margaret Faydle Comes to Town" with Pat
Brady as jealous Lucy Stckler. And everyone
gets a 
comeuppance in the final act, "Match Wits with
Minka Lupino".

Murderers runs January 30 to February
1 and February 4 to 8, evenings at 8 and
Sunday matinees at 2:30 PM. Call the box

J.B. Priestley's An Inspector Calls, directed
by Debbie May, was ably read on the Playhouse
stage Sunday, January 4 at 2:30 PM.




Taking bows are Ryan Davis as Eric Birling,
Sue Katz as Sybil Birling, Kait Van Heusen as
Sheila Birling, Mike Silvia as Gerald Croft,
Janet May as Edna, Richard Messina as
Inspector Goole and Terry Peterson as Arthur
Birling kept the audience entertained and
intrigued until the mysterious ending.

Light refreshments were served between acts.

Murder again at the Playhouse

Our final offering of this season will be
Rehearsal for Murder, adapted by D.D. Brooke
from the teleplay by Richard Levinson and
William Link and directed by Rita Russell. A
beautiful screen star makes the transition to
Broadway but dies the night after bad opening
night reviews. Was it suicide? Her playwright
fiance stages a play within a play to find
out "whodunit".

An large ensemble piece with at least eight
characters on stage most of the time, we will
announce auditions soon. The play will be
presented May 8 - 17, All seats $15.
