Albany Civic Theater invites you to attend its annual Playwright's Showcase, which features a performance of a play written by a local playwright.
 
This year's showcase will be Sunday, July 26 at 3pm. It will feature Mars Hill's "On the Winsome," starring Marva Ray. 
 
The play is about a middle-aged African-American woman who recalls the details of her life and family history. In the process, she discovers both fact and fantasy. 
 
The play will be directed by ACT's Artistic Director, Carol King. 
 
It is a pay-what-you-will performance. No reservations are required.
