[Capdist-announce] Musicians of Ma'alwyck in concert Sept. 12 at Sand Lake Center for the Arts

Sand Lake Center for the Arts will present the Musicians of Ma'alwyck, a
classical ensemble with guitar, flute, violin, cello, and voice on Sat.
Sept. 12 at 8pm. The performance will simulate an evening with Thomas Cole
who was considered to be the founder of the Hudson River School of painting.
Cole lived in the Catskills close to the Hudson River for the last decade of
his life and the program will draw on music from his time. An accomplished
amateur flutist and guitarist, he enjoyed making music at his home with
friends and colleagues. 

The program was specifically designed by the Musicians of Ma'alwyck to
commemorate Hudson River arts history.  The Musicians will share information
with the audience during the performance. 

The Center is located at 2880 NY 43, one half mile east of the blinking
light in Averill Park, NY. Tickets are $18 and reservations can  be made at
