performances this weekend.

 this weekend's prescription is 

"You Can't Take It With You" 

by the Schenectady Civic Players.

    Gazette theater reviewer Carol 

King says "Director Jeffrey Scott 

has taken all the right steps to 

make this zany Kaufman and Hart 

comedy a theatrical evening full of 

fun, "with spritely tunes from the 

1920s and 1930s and costumes 

that are period perfect."

    Showtimes are 7:30 tonight, 

8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 

2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Playhouse, 

12 S. Church St. in Schenectady.
