SummerStage, is carefully designed to provide a combination of structured performing arts training, creative expression, fun, social interaction with other students, and the opportunity to perform. Individual and collaborative work by the young people under the guidance of experienced teachers culminates in an original presentation created and performed by the students. Acting classes are same-age, special topics are partially mixed-age, and performance projects are mixed-age. The SummerStage experience provides a training ground and showcase for young performers’ creative talents.

SummerStage will be held in the Schacht Fine Arts Center, Russell Sage College, Troy, NY.

Tuition: $550.; Application deadline: June 1, 2010.
