The Highlight Acting Troupe will be hosting a picnic dinner theater at the Brunswick Grange on Saturday, June 12, at 6:30 p.m.   The menu for the picnic will include: hamburgs/cheeseburgers, hot dogs, various salads, dessert and choice of ice tea or lemonade for beverages.  The cost of the picnic and show which is a comedy, Imperfect Proposal by Lisa Parry is $15 for adults and $10 for children 6-12.  
 
Imperfect Proposal is about Ben, a young man in love, who has invited his girlfriend to a romantic picnic in the park to pop the question.  Spreading out the blanket and food, he rehearses the perfect line.  But as soon as Kate arrives,  his hopes of happily ever after are dashed as anything that could possibly go wrong does – he says the wrong things, she misunderstands, they get plowed over by some football players … followed by a parade of other mishaps!  A constant stream of wisecracks (and wisdom!) comes from a nearby park bench, where a nosey old couple spends the afternoon eavesdropping and commentating.  By the end of the picnic, the thought of wedding bells are gone for the young couple’s relationship.
