Confetti Stage boozes up a Dickens Classic this Holiday Season!

Confetti Stage, Inc, Award Winning Theatre Without Limits, is pleased to announce its 37th production, Mrs. Bob Cratchit’s Wild Christmas Binge, a musical parody written by Christopher Durang and directed by Jeffrey P. Hocking.

Confetti Stage returns to its holiday tradition of producing the non-traditional with Christopher Durang's wild and completely cracked twist on Dickens' holiday classic.
When old Ebeneezer is visited by a sassy ghost, who is not quite on her game, they end up at the Cratchit home much too early, and discover a hard-drinking and suicidal Gladys Cratchit, whose harshness toward her family surpasses Mommy Dearest by a mile.

Mrs. Bob Cratchit’s Wild Christmas Binge features: Nate Beynon, Kelly Blitz, Sal Fusco, Colin Gioia, Lukien Hughes, Joan Meyer, William Sanderson, Lynn Scott, Mikayla Tougas, Doreen Watson, and Patrick White. Original Music written by Michael Friedman. Vocal Coach: Leslie Eliashuk. Production Designers: Debbie Lummis, Seana Munson, and Barry Streifert. Production Stage Manager: Katelyn Ouellette

Review of The Gallery Players' NYC premier, Dec 2009:
“Modern, funny, refreshing, and filled with spirit. I’d be hard-pressed to pick a favorite, funniest moment of the show, and that’s a good thing. Just when you think it can’t get any funnier or more bizarre, it does. If you see one holiday show this season, I recommend this one!” -J Jordan, nytheatre.com
Review of Playhouse on Park's West Hartford production, Dec 2009:
"Charles Dickens must be turning over in his grave. But that’s probably because he’s laughing so hard."

-Mark Jahne, My West Hartford Life.com
