The Squire Jacob Concert Series will present Fennig's All-Star String Band on Sat., Oct. 30 at 8pm at the Sand Lake Center for the Arts. Founder, Bill Spence, known throughout the country for his excellent and innovative hammered dulcimer playing, is also skilled on a variety of other instruments, and sings, too. George Wilson, known far and wide for his virtuoso fiddling, plays other instruments and sings as well. Toby Stover, also a singer, is an acknowledged master of the energetic New England style rhythm piano accompaniment. Together, this all-star group will have you tapping your foot to their music, chuckling at their droll wit, and smiling as your mind travels back to the early days of the Pickin' & Singin' Gatherin' and the Fox Hollow Festival. All have CD's and/or books to their credit. Tickets are $16 and reservations can be made at 518-674-2007 or www.slca-ctp.org.
