Dance and Music Extravaganza to celebrate the 50th anniversary of
"The Christmas Oratorio"

Saratoga Springs, NY - Nacre Dance Company presents the "Christmas Oratorio" 50th anniversary celebration at The Universal Preservation Hall at 25 Washington Street in Saratoga Springs on Friday, November 18th and Saturday, November 19th at 8pm and Sunday, November 20th at 2pm. Partial proceeds from this performance benefit the restoration project for The Universal Preservation Hall.

Nacre's production is based on Charles Weidman's later version of "Christmas Oratorio", which opened in New York City in 1961 to wide critical acclaim, and has remained a much-loved classic work of modern dance.  Weidman's masterful choreography danced by accomplished Nacre dancers combined with Bach's passionate music presented by the talented musicians and choral ensemble of Mosaic -Arts will make this a moving and unforgettable experience.

Only a select few dance companies in the world have performed the "Christmas Oratorio" - Our performance is a unique opportunity to see this beautiful and rarely produced work of art! Be a part of this Saratoga tradition!
