Love is a many splendored thing, especially amid the Northern Lights on a cold winter’s evening in the mythical town of Almost, Maine. This magical comedy is told in eleven vignettes with six actors portraying nineteen characters.

Ms Lee-Visscher has directed many previous Playhouse productions and recently appeared on stage as Robin Hood in the Panto and as Lady Elizabeth Eastlake in the season’s first production of “The Countess.” Wendy Power-Spielmann of Kinderhook, another popular Playhouse performer, will be Assistant Director.

Filling the roles of the nineteen characters are Todd Hamilton of North Adams, MA who recently appeared as John Ruskin, Jr. in “The Countess”; Mark Schane-Lydon of Canaan, NY who has been seen on stage in many recent Playhouse productions and won a TANYS this past summer for his performance as Falstaff in the Classic Theater Guild’s production of “The Merry Wives of Windsor”; and Prudence Theriault who was last seen at Ghent in “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)”. New to the Playhouse this year are Sarah Elizabeth Lomerson of Chatham, NY, David Polson of Hudson, NY and Meaghan Rogers of Pittsfield, MA.
