[Capdist-announce] Broadway Cares Benefit

[Lights Up Productions]

  On September 21, 2015 Lights Up Productions will host a Benefit for Broadway Cares.

 The Benefit begins at 8:00pm and will feature 15 local performers, as well as two performers from Broadway. 

 Cost to attend the Benefit is $15.00 and a 50/50 raffle will be held during the event. Along with the 50/50 raffle a auction will be held at intermission of the performance. Auction items to include: Signed Next to Normal print of Broadway's Kyle Dean Massey, Signed Spring Awakening Script (Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater), and many more. 

 Concession to be provided by the Cue Theatre and to benefit the theatrical endeavors of this children's theatre group. 

 Broadway Guests:
 Adam Kaplan - Broadway: Newsies; Show Boa...t (NY Philharmonic); Regionally: Hairspray (Link Larkin), Fiddler on the Roof (Mendel), Into the Woods (Jack), How to Succeed....(Finch). Adam has taught numerous classes and workshops in New York City and across the country. Through private coaching he has helped students gain acceptance to the college program of their dreams. Adam was a finalist in the 2012 NYMF's Next Broadway Sensation competition, and in January 2013 made his Broadway debut in Disney's Newsies performing the leading role, Jack Kelly, numerous times. He then went on to perform with the New York Philharmonic in 'Show Boat' which will soon be broadcast as part of the PBS' Live at Lincoln Center Series. www.adamkaplanonline.com
