PRESS ALERT!

WHAT: An event in solidarity with the January 21 Women’s March on
Washington for those who cannot make the trip to DC.

WHEN: Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 10 am-2 pm

WHERE: Colonial Theatre, 111 South Street, Pittsfield, MA

WHO (LOCAL COMMITTEE):  A local steering committee, including Kristen van
Ginhoven of WAM Theatre, and various community volunteers are currently
organizing the local event.

WHO (DC MARCH): A state committee, including Rupal Parmar of Pittsfield,
are coordinating efforts with the National team for the DC March.

WHY: Our actions and efforts towards equal rights, for women and for all,
matter and are needed now more than ever.

PURPOSE:  To provide a positive place where people can gather and support
the DC march.
