HUBBARD HALL CENTER FOR THE ARTS AND EDUCATION ANNOUNCES OCTOBER EVENTS:

*WHISPERING BONES: AN EVENING OF GHOST STORIES*

*A HUBBARD HALL-O-WEEN MONSTER MASH BALL*

(Cambridge, NY October 25, 2017) Once again, Kelvin Keraga hosts an evening
of creepy and chilling tales, told by some of the region’s best
storytellers! *Whispering Bones* is a great mix of classic legends, new
stories, and whispered folktales that are spooky, eerie, and fantastical.
All proceeds from the show will go to help Hubbard Hall’s Arts Education
Scholarship program. This program helps to ensure that no student at
Hubbard Hall is ever turned away from a class based on financial
limitations. This year’s featured cast includes: Siri Allison, Leila
Bruske, Barbara Chepaitis, Margaret French, Tony Pallone, Doug Ryan, and
Kelvin Keraga. *Whispering Bones* will be presented Friday, October 27 at
7:30pm. Tickets are $20 General Admission, $10 Students, and are available
online at hubbardhall.org, by calling 518-677-2495 <(518)%20677-2495>, or
at-the-door.

Also coming up, our THIRD ANNUAL HUBBARD HALL-O-WEEN CELEBRATION! This year
we move the party INSIDE for a Monster Mash Ball! Costumes are encouraged
as you dance your way through spooky corners to classic Halloween Dance
tunes. Delicious treats like Apple Cider and Pumpkin Bread will surely
please all members of your party - from the tiniest trick-or-treater to the
strongest super hero. Come to The Mash on Saturday, October 28 at 7pm.
Tickets are $10 General Admission, $5 Students, or $20 for a family of
three or more! Tickets and concession sales go to support the Hubbard Hall
Dance Costume Fund!

*About*

Hubbard Hall engages hundreds of artists and students and thousands of
audience members each year in acclaimed productions ranging from world
premiere musicals to the great works of Chekhov, Shaw, Miller, and
Shakespeare, amongst many others. As a training ground for both young and
seasoned artists, Hubbard Hall continues to develop a new generation of
artists and audiences while providing opportunities for individuals to take
new risks and grow beyond their comfort zone. Through classes in dance,
theater, music, movement, puppetry, fencing and even gardening, Hubbard
Hall gives students of all ages an opportunity to learn, collaborate and
grow. By offering arts education programming in schools and throughout our
region, we connect more deeply with our community and give students
throughout the region the opportunity to learn and grow through the arts.
Hubbard Hall operates four buildings, including its original 1878 opera
house and three recently renovated freight yard buildings containing dance,
music, and visual arts studios, offices, arts exhibit spaces, and a black
box theater. While serving approximately 8,000 individual contacts each
year, Hubbard Hall maintains over 150 subscribers and 1,700 individual
donors. We also partner with Bennington and Skidmore Colleges to provide
professional theater training to their undergraduate students. Recognized
as an arts institution in the state of New York, Hubbard Hall is a national
model for community-based arts organizations.
