WHAT:  Virtual Staged Readings Series presented by The Two Of Us
Productions, the award winning theater company based in Columbia County NY,
in collaboration with The Copake Grange:

AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE - Dr. Thomas Stockmann attempts to expose a water
pollution scandal in his home town, which is trying to establish itself as a
health spa "destination".  His brother, who is the town's mayor & on the
board of the private health spa, conspires with local politicians and the
newspaper to suppress the story.  Dr. Stockmann appeals to the public for
fix the problem at a public meeting - only to be shouted down and reviled as
an enemy of the people.  

WHEN:  AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE, a drama by Henrik Ibsen&  adapted by Arthur

as Virtual On-Line staged reading starting at 7:30 pm.

Henrik Ibsen was a Norwegian playwright and theatre director born in Norway
in 1828. In 1862, he was exiled to Italy, where he wrote the tragedy Brand.
In 1868, Ibsen moved to Germany, where he wrote one of his most famous
works: the play A Doll's House. As one of the founders of modernism in
theatre, Ibsen is often referred to as "the father of realism" and one of
the most influential playwrights of his time.  

Arthur Miller was an American playwright, essayist, blacklisted writer and

Superstar were all recognized by the Theatre Association of NYS with
multiple awards, including outstanding work by the company & outstanding
performance by the orchestra.
