The Capital  Region Center for Arts in Education is looking for working 
professional Artists  in Dance, Music, Drama, and The Visual and Literary Arts who 
are interested in  bringing the arts into classrooms. 
Announcing a Teaching  Artist Professional Development Opportunity: 
An Introduction to  Aesthetic Education: A unique approach to Arts in 
Education   
Date: January 3-4,  2006 
Time:  9-5 
Place: NYS Museum,  Albany   
In this workshop we will  introduce the basic educational philosophy and 
practice of Aesthetic Education.  Learn to weave inquiry and reflection into your 
experiential artmaking  activities in classrooms. Expand your ability to 
partner with teachers to build  meaningful curriculum.  
To secure a place in the  workshop please send a resume and a cover letter 
that expresses why you, as an  artist, want to work in schools and your personal 
philosophy of teaching in the  Arts. The Center for Arts in Education will be 
accepting applications for  openings on its Teaching Artist Roster after this 
 workshop.
