[Capdist-auditions] Casting the role of Hal in "Proof"

 StudioArts Entertainment is currently casting for the role of Hal for thier production of David Auburn's Pulitzer Prize winning drama "Proof".  Rehearsals will begin in early May for a run which begins July 6 and goes through July 22. Catherine has just lost her father, a respected mathematician and teacher, after helping him cope through years of mental illness.  Hal is the man's former student, who has taken it upon himself to go through the stacks of notebooks that have been left behind.  Catherine is sure that they are nothing more than the ramblings of a man crippled by graphomania.  As she and Hal become closer, she leads him to a mathematical discovery so profound and unexpected, it rattles their new relationship to it's very core.
