[Capdist-auditions] Looking for Directors

*The Roustabout Players* are expanding!

We have been performing for 26 years at 1915 5th ave, Troy.  While we plan
on continuing that tradition for many years to come, we are currently
looking to add 1 to 2 more shows to our season.

In order to fill this desire, we are looking for Directors who would like to
show their stuff in a well established community theater.

The Roustabout Players primary show occurs Fridays and Saturdays, all 4
weekends of February and the first weekend of March.
We have established a regular audience base of 800-1000 people for the run
(and are currently working to expand that as well).
Our February audience has come to expect comedy/farce and we will be staying
in that format.

The additional shows will be an opportunity to try different styles.  Drama,
musicals, blackbox, experimental... we are open to all possibilities.
These shows might take place in different locations which would better
accent the style of performance.
Possible time frames for the additional shows would be October, early
December, or May.

Please note, we are looking for multiple people.  It is highly unlikely that
there is any one person who will have the time available to become our
resident director and handle all of our shows.  (However, if you are that
person we would like to talk to you as well.)  Our vision is to have
different directors handle different performances, either one-offs or in
perpetuity.
