Overview:

A popular minister, Reverend James is in constant demand as a public
speaker, with a devoted young curate, an efficient secretary who is
half in love with him, and a happy little family, overseen by his
splendid, beautiful wife, Candida. But when Candida brings home a
young poet, shy, inexperienced, but bursting with artistic
sensibility and burning with love for Candida, Morell’s self-
satisfied, orderly existence is shaken to the roots.

Seeking:

Proserpine Garnet, F, 20s-early40s. A working class secretary,
efficient, organized, comic, secretly in love with Morell.

Marchbanks, M, 18-25. An upper class, penniless young poet, with no
experience of the world, but overflowing with artistic sensibility.
In love with Candida.

Lexy, M, 20s. Morell’s curate. A recent Cambridge graduate. Eager,
devoted to Morell.

All roles require an English accent.
