> Marketing and Public Relations Assistant Michael C. Rockefeller Arts 

> Center State University of New York at Fredonia (Full-time, SL-2; 

> Budget Title: Community Relations Associate) Salary Range: Mid-30s

> Responsibilities: Under the direction of the director of Rockefeller 

> Arts Center, this position promotes awareness of and attendance at a 

> wide variety of cultural events. Write, design and distribute press 

> releases, newsletters, brochures, flyers, postcards, posters and 

> emails.  Publish event playbills. Create,

> schedule and place newspaper, radio and cable TV advertising.   

> Update and maintain web site and email list.  Oversee bulk mailings. 

> Train and supervise 1-3 student assistants/interns.

> Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations,  

> marketing or related field and 1-3 years relevant experience.   

> Excellent writing/editing skills and proofreading abilities are
