ALBANY CIVIC THEATER AUDITIONS July 23rd & 24th at 7:00pm

Albany Civic Theater will hold auditions for "Three Viewings" on  
Monday, July 23, and Tuesday, July 24, 2007.  Sign-up begins at 7pm  
each evening and auditions will be held at Albany Civic Theater, 235  
Second Avenue, Albany, NY.  Production dates are from October 26 -  
November 11, 2007.

Set in a mid-western funeral parlor, "Three Viewings" is comprised of  
three separate monologues, each by turns funny and poignant, warm and  
surprising. Emil, the mild-mannered undertaker, Mac, a Los Angeles  
drifter who makes her living stealing money from corpses, and  
Virginia, the widow of a wheeler-dealer contractor, all tell rich and  
clever stories with intriguing and unforeseen results.

Needed:
		 One male, Emil, age 35-50
        		 One female, Mac, age 35-45
              	 One female, Virginia, age late 50's -60's

It is strongly suggested that you familiarize yourself with the  
script before auditioning as each act consists entirely of a one- 
person monologue.  Ultimately, interpretation and characterization  
depends on your understanding of the text.  Therefore, scripts will  
be available for your perusal.
