Additional actors needed for directing projects at SUNY Albany

Auditions: Sunday, April 6th, 630pm-900pm (630pm for slot sign-up)
Callbacks: Sunday, April 6th, 930pm-1030pm (Please be prepared to stay if necessary)
Location: Studio Theatre at Performing Arts Center (PAC) at SUNY Albany, 1400 Washington Avenue, Albany, NY

Those auditioning will be given a monologue upon arrival to look at and read
during the audition. Work on the monologue will then be done with each
actor during the audition.

“Trying to find Chinatown” by David Henry Hwang: Director, Max Han

Two characters trying to deal with issues of identity: one, an Asian 
street musician with an attitude, and the other is a Caucasian man who 
claims to an Asian-American heritage.

*_Character Break-down_*

Ronnie – Asian in mid twenties. A cocky, self-absorbed street
 musician who thinks has the world all figured out.

Benjamin – Caucasian in early twenties. Mild, good-natured, and 
intelligent man who takes pride in his Chinese heritage.

An actress to play an elderly black woman is also needed for the play 'Grey Matter'.
