[Capdist-auditions] Over the Tavern Auditions (with show date changes)

Village Stage will be holding auditions at the Delmar
Reformed Church, 386 Delaware Ave., Delmar, New York
on Monday, June 23  and Tuesday, June 24, for a
production of Tom Dudzick's comedy "Over The Tavern." 
Sign-ups begin at 7:00 p.m., auditions at 7:30 p.m.  

The show will be presented in the Troy Arts Center on
December 5-6 and 12-14.  Rehearsals will begin in late
September.

"Over the Tavern," which takes place in Buffalo in
1959, deals with the Pazinski family, who live in an
apartment Chet's Tavern, which is run by Chet
Pazinski.  The primary focus of the show is the
turmoil Rudy Pazinski experiences as he prepares to
make his Confirmation in the Catholic Church.  Each of
his sibilings and parents has his or her own issues to
deal with, but Rudy's involves Sister Clarissa, his
teacher, who is frustrated by his questioning of
Church teaching.
