John Romeo.

Steamer No. 10 Theatre, 500 Western Avenue, Albany - corner of
West Lawrence Street.
Times

Monday March 10, 7:30 pm
Needed:
1 woman-Age range-30-45. Molly Sweeney, a legally blind woman.
Intense, strong willed and anxious to experience the sighted world.
Strong Irish accent. Molly is, in her heart, an explorer. She is
willing to take the great risk of surgery to see, if only for a
while. She has a sensuality that would make her attractive to any
man, whether or not she is "pretty".
1 man-35-55. Mr. Rice, a once famous eye surgeon-Willing to put Molly
at risk to achieve his goal at being noted for her regaining her
sight. Not a bad man, but driven and sees her as an experiment. Irish
accent, subtle. Should be tall, imposing figure.
1 man-Frank Sweeney, Molly’s husband-Age 45-60. Good man. A dreamer,
a man who has lived many lives, but is eternally on a voyage to find
himself. Loves Molly. Will do anything for her. In some way, he feels
unworthy of her. Quiet, educated, a dreamer. Still waters run deep in
Frank. Everyman sort of fellow. Not strikingly handsome, but clearly
a gentle and loving man.
